LPA Singapore extends its offer in International Employment Law with the arrival of Astrid Cippe

Astrid Cippe joins Arnaud Bourrut-Lacouture, Bérengère Roig, and Delphine Constantin, respectively founding partners and partner of the Singapore office of LPA-CGR, which opened last Spring, to run the International Employment Law and Global Mobility practice.

Astrid is Of Counsel and advises MNCs and SMEs, individuals, ensuring compliance is met across all touch-points without exposing assignee and company to any non-compliant risk about cross-border movements, tax & labour laws, working to bring Global Mobility interventions to a successful conclusion. She helps organisations navigate global ambiguity of unfamiliar legislative environments with minimal operational, reputational and financial risk. She has more than 12 years’ experience in offering key strategic execution for the end-to-end management of worldwide long and short-term assignments, permanent transfers, localisations and repatriations.

Astrid holds a Ph.D. in International and European Law (Highest Honours & Publication Prize) from Paris II, Pantheon-Assas University, a Master of Advanced studies in Management of Social Transformations from SciencesPo Paris; a Postgraduate Research Degree in Employment and Social Law and a Master in Economic Science and Social Management (Employment Policy and HR) from Paris I, Pantheon-Sorbonne University.

Prior to joining LPA, she was a Senior Manager and Attorney-at-Law at PwC Tax and Legal in Paris. She managed a team of around 10 associates and CPOs and she advised MNCs and SMEs as a senior specialist in Global Mobility (International Mobility Policy implementation, remuneration package, international payroll etc.) and Compliance (support of M&A team) and as an International Employment Structuring Expert. She was designated as an EURES Expert Trainer for the European Commission. She has been also a consultant in the European Social Mission attached to the President of EDF for lobbying in Brussels and Paris.

She is qualified in France (Attorney-At-Law, Paris Bar) and for the last three years has volunteered at the Pro Bono Services of the Singapore Law Society.

She is fluent in English, Italian and Creole.
